MCEUSB with Philips eHome Infrared Transceiver problems

John Molohan
Hello all,

I've just got a new mce remote. I've followed steps from
http://blatter.com/mceusb/INSTALL using lirc-0.7.1 and
mceusb.0.22-20050521.tar.bz2. All seems ok but irrecord sees no input.
I've had a look through the archives and tried with the daemons from
lirc-0.7.0 as suggested in a post but to no avail. It looks identical to
the remote mentioned in this post
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=7489381&forum_id=5339
doesn't mean it is identical though I guess. Please cc me any replies,
thanks.

Here's the output from /var/log/messages
